Salary: FTE: Band 5 £29,846 - £32,514 pa,
Actual £22,125 - £24,102 pa, inclusive of 5.6 wks holiday
Working Hours: 32.5 hours per week – Term Time Only

If you would like to be part of our journey to support students’ lives, we are looking for a Specialist Learning Support Assistant to join our Lower School team as part of our provision. You will be working to inspire our students love of learning through a hands on and creative approach to teaching and supporting the learning of the students. You will work across the Lower School model but be based in the Juniors provision.
The successful candidate should have experience of working within the KS2 area of the curriculum and an understanding of SEND needs with a focus on social, emotional and mental health. They should also have a flexible approach to delivering support and a passion for helping students to succeed academically.
The position will see you dividing your time between supporting teaching staff and working 1:1 in the classroom or providing intervention. There will also be a requirement to cover teachers’ lessons. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a direct impact on students’ lives.
Due to the nature of the role the ideal applicant must hold, at minimum, Level 2 English and Maths. A Level 3 Teaching and Learning Support qualification, or equivalent, would also be advantageous.
