             32.5  hours per week - £20,794 - £22,622 pa Mon - Fri

             26 hours per week -  £16,635 - £18,097pa Tues - Fri

              19 hours per week - £12,477 - £13,573 pa Mon, Wed, Fri

West Heath School is on an exciting journey to become a registered therapeutic community. We are looking for a flexible, committed Support Mentor to join our dedicated staff team, supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

In this rewarding but challenging role, you’ll:

·        Build strong, professional relationships as a boundaried key adult for SEMH students

·        Use de-escalation and co-regulation strategies to support students through difficult times

·        Contribute to our therapeutic community ethos and promote independence, respect, and responsibility

·        Support students’ transitions and reintegration to mainstream education

·        Help develop vital life skills for our young people

Support Mentors are expected to be flexible and adaptable, ensuring all students can access and engage in their lessons. They support students to develop life skills, independence and self-regulation over time, preparing them for success both within and beyond the classroom.
